Messe Friedrichshafen organizes international tuning & sports car show at the Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund – Inaugural dates: November 11 to 14, 2010
Tuning and sports car industry representatives and fans now have a new show to look forward to: From November 11th to 14th 2010, the spotlight will be on refined and sporty cars at the MY CAR International Tuning & Sports Car Show in Dortmund. This new show will put the focus on the manufacturers, tuners and equipment suppliers of these cars, while spreading the joys of personalizing “my car” to visitors. Organizing MY CAR is Messe Friedrichshafen, which has turned its TUNING WORLD BODENSEE on southern Germany’s Lake Constance into Europe’s largest trade show for auto tuning and its lifestyle and clubs in a mere seven years.
“Through ongoing dialogue with the major industry operators, we have developed our successful concept and now aim to create an exciting new event for the industry, retailers and automotive enthusiasts in western Germany,” explains Klaus Wellmann, CEO of Messe Friedrichshafen. “Dortmund is a well-established trade show venue. With its location in the urban agglomeration of North Rhine-Westphalia and its proximity to the Benelux countries, it’s the ideal spot to stage an international tuning and sports car show.”
The MY CAR team has committed itself to putting the emphasis in Dortmund on sporty cars and the fun of tuning. “Because of our close contact with the exhibitors and the clubs, we’re able to reflect an emotionally based image of the tuning scene and combine it with an action-packed entertainment program. In the spring, we’ll be electrifying the public at TUNING WORLD BODENSEE and next fall, we’ll let the same current of excitement arch over to the Ruhr region.”
